Fashion: Best dressed Oscars 2015

A lot of beautiful gowns this year.  And as with every year, there were a lot of beautiful gowns on the wrong people, or a beautiful gown but wrong accessories.  below are the gowns that made me say wow.  The right amount of sensuous glamour on the right person.

Monocrome

Only showing the top of Lupita's dress because it was my favorite part.  I wish the pearls melted in to a billowing cream chiffon skirt.

Classic, fits like a glove.  Excellent choice Reese and Reese's stylist.

Très chic.  Je aime voir une belle femme dans une robe curieux.  Rester français Marion.

Puce?

It works, love it.  Looks like the gamble paid off Emma.

Rose red

Stunning.  I want those shoes in every color.  Rosettes for Rosamund.

Not in love with the cuff or clutch, but overall I adore this modern statuesque look on Dakota.

How to: Last minute Valentines

So you woke up and realized that its Valentine's day.  Regardless of what you think of the holiday saying a little extra "I love you" to your sweetie never hurts.  Also, some of us just love a good theme.

Here are some last minute options... no one will ever know that you just remembered this morning.

using post-it notes create a heart, and write something you love about the other person on each one.  (I did a small on on our fridge!)

3D hearts by How About Orange

You can get creative, check the local newspaper for concerts coming out and clip it, there you go thats date #1.  Maybe include a menu (can be found online) of a new place you want to go together, thats date #2.  You could also include a momento of a previous outing like that pressed penny you made down on the waterfront, thats date #3.  I could go on, you could also make the box for "a month of dates".  Thanks Babes Ruth for the inspiration.

I'll admit, I don't have a heart cup cake tin, but I can still make heart cupcakes thanks to this great idea from Tastes Better From Scratch.

Strips of paper and a stapler, there you go - heart garland.  You can also do it in other colors, metallic would be fun!
